An iconic image in urban South Africa is one of razor wire fences littered with desperately clinging shreds of discarded plastic bags.These bags get ripped and torn as they flap in the wind, somehow not letting go, holding on for life. One would pass by and look up to these shreds of plastic waving rhythmically blending with the faint clouds in the hot summer sky.
